Dyeing differnt parts of armor and weapons
I think it would be a nice idea if we were able to dye different parts of our armor and weapons instead of what it tells us. Like changing the color the actual blade instead of the hilt or changing the color the black part of sin fow armor, or the stripes on ele vabbian armor, it would give us more customization

Not a big deal. Get used to the parts that can be dyed.

Would be great for GW2. Way to much time and effort for GW1 to apply to all the existing models. I must say though, the ability to have 2 different areas dyed 2 different colors, plus the color of the undyable areas is pretty sweet in games that have it (Warhammer online for instance does this).

Too much of a change for GW1.
I would love it, though, but still too much of a change.
Let's hope the dye system works fine in GW2. Not like this one, with tons of skinns that accept dyes but won't die, or skins that will show the base color when you zoom out, or skins that will result in really weird combinations and colors impossible to get.

It would cause me to load more things from different players and cause lag.

I would love to be able to further customise my armor!
And only yesterday i dreamed of my character having white armor parts of currently unchangable black parts. So if dreams can come true, i keep my hopes up for this one...

This would be a good idea for Guild Wars 2. Then not everyone would be running around with the same armor dyed the same color (obsidian dyed black). It would make it more unique.
That being said, yes it would be too much work to put it into all the armors that already exist in Guild Wars 1, so please ANet work on GW2 and implement this.

It'd be nice but /notsigned.
1 - I really wouldn't care all that much (it won't make much difference to a lot of things).
2 - Anet won't implement it this far into the game.

They'd have to make a new texture for every single item in the game to allow for the two tone, among other things. Totally unrealistic.
